Pricing Plans Terms & Conditions

Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the Poynton Brass Band Supporter Scheme (the "Scheme"), operated by Poynton Brass Band, a registered charity (the "Band," "we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing to a Supporter Plan (Patron or Friend), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before subscribing.

These terms & conditions are intended for:

  • Patrons, donors, benefactors and supporters of the Band.

Subscription and Payment

By choosing a Supporter Plan and providing your payment information, you authorise the Band to charge you the applicable recurring fee annually for your chosen plan (Patron or Friend).

The Support Plan subscriptions are a recurring charitable donation.

​

Payments:

  • Payments will be processed securely using ‘Wix Payments’ services.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that your payment information is accurate and up-to-date. You can manage your payment details through your online account, or by contacting us.

  • Subscription fees are payable in advance.

 

We reserve the right to change the subscription fees. You will be notified of any fee changes at least 3 months prior to the change taking effect. Any revised subscription fees would then be applicable at the annual anniversary date.

Supporter Plans and Benefits

Patron Plan: Benefits include:

  • Regular Newsletter: Delivered at least quarterly via email and through your online account.

  • Free Patrons' Concert Ticket: One ticket per subscription per year.

    • Details on claiming your ticket will be communicated to Patrons.

    • This ticket is not transferable across years.

    • If you cannot attend the annual Patrons’ Concert, you may be able to use this benefit at a different concert within the subscription year; this is subject to:

      • ticket availability,

      • and this benefit cannot be used at any of the Band’s Christmas concerts (this covers the month of December each calendar year).

  • Patrons' Pin Badge: Will be available for collection at the next Patrons’ concert you choose to attend.

 

Friend Plan: Benefits include:

  • Regular Newsletter: Delivered at least quarterly via email and through your online account.

 

We reserve the right to modify the benefits associated with each Supporter Plan. You will be notified of any changes to benefits. No refunds will be offered for changes to benefits.

 

Both the Patron and Friend plan are honorary donation tiers, and have no voting rights or entitlements to either Poynton Brass Band the charity or its’ Trust.

 

Benefits are non-transferable to another person and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift Aid

By ticking the Gift Aid declaration box, you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and that you wish the Band to reclaim Gift Aid on your donations.

 

You are responsible for the accuracy of your Gift Aid declaration.

 

Gift Aid will be claimed in accordance with current UK tax regulations.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through logging into your account, or contacting us.

 

Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for early termination.

 

We reserve the right to terminate your subscription at any time for breach of these Terms and Conditions or our Website Terms of Use, these are available to view here: Legal -> Website Terms of Use

Liability

The Band will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Scheme.

 

Our liability to you for any other loss or damage shall be limited to the amount of the subscription fees you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes via email or through a notice on our website. Your continued participation in the Scheme following the notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
