Solo Trombone

I started playing trombone when I was 9 years old at my primary school. I enjoyed learning to play an instrument and quickly started to have lessons and joined the stockport schools youth brass band. When I was 15 I was offered to come down and play on 2nd trombone for a concert with Poynton at the Ring O Bells. After this I was invited back to rehearsals and was very eager to become a member. I was very proud when I was asked to join and loved learning from all the amazing players around. I was asked to play 1st trombone for the area competition in 2019 and afterwards was delighted to keep the position. It was around this time where I started to think about doing music for a career, so I auditioned at chethams school of music in Manchester and was offered a place, which is where I’m currently studying.
